Character Advantage Cards: Character Advantage Cards give your pcs a bonus for making the next level - a little pimp bonus for an action during a session. Character Advantage Cards can make your campaign characters more unique and they have some great side benefits for your campaign. Generally, an experienced player who creates a 10th level character to join a party will design a character that is optimal for that level. They did not have to make tough choices at 3rd and 6th level and can always choose the optimal preliminary feats with no concerns about survival at that level. Character Advantage Cards help level that playing field.

The cards are designed to be printed on regular business cards and when a PC uses one they just hand it to the DM. Note in my campaign the cards are dealt at random and may not be traded amongst players. However, I am very liberal in how they use them and generally allow them to stack on each other. This allows me to bring new players into a campaign at a level equal to the lowest level of other active players - they just do not get any cards. The cards marked as one-shot mean they can be used once per an adventure and then they are returned to the PC when the adventure is over.

I suspect if you try these cards your players will really enjoy them.
